the week leading up to labor day in the nevada desert. >> national news this morning. a fatal hostage standoff in aurora, colorado. thats the same city where a gunman opened fire at a movie theater, killing 12 people. police arrived on scene to find a gunman who barricaded himself inside his home. there was gunfire after negotiations with the man failed. then police to stormed the building. the suspect was killed as the swat team entered the house. police then discovered the bodies of three other people inside the home. the standoff comes nearly six months after a shooting at a movie theater only four miles away left twelve people dead. >>> the seattle police department is now facing an excessive force lawsuit over the arrest of an 18-year- old man. it was all caught on camera. we warn you, it may be tough to watch. back on december 29th 2010, seattle police discovered a suspicious vehicle. it was locked with its engine running outside a department store. a man came outside to claim the car but officers were concerned when they found out he was not the owner of the vehicle. they tried
